  • @cnr200220062011 alright, either one of us is getting some bad info, or your search was mostly AP results

  • You can also just Google "Algebra II 9th grade" and peruse the hits...there are plenty of them. The only caveat is that these students who take Algebra I in 8th grade, such as myself and I believe a large number of kids in gifted or even honors classes, must past some assessment of their Algebra skill before being allowed to move on to Algebra II in 9th grade (so as to not allow those who didn't retain the information to move on).

  • @CousinStudios4 What government site was this? I just searched Algebra II and 9th grade on the Department of Education's site and there's nothing saying it's against the law. In fact, there are several reports that come up and they all say that while the average student takes Algebra I in the 9th grade, most schools offer Algebra II in that year for those who took Algebra I in 8th grade... like me and every friend of mine who has been perplexed about your "illegal" claim.

  • @cnr200220062011 no ONE convinced me of anything, it was on a .gov site about high school curiculum I did for a report a while ago.

"Algebra 2- 11th and 12th grade students within the country of America. exceptions include Honors classes or Advanced Placement test results."

  • @CousinStudios4 (d0t) acmtmhs (d0t) org / academies / asm / home (d0t) html you can check that out and see the progression expected at my high school. I don't know who convinced you of this law... but it's a lie.

do i need to take a picture of the report card and upload it somewhere for you?

  • @cnr200220062011 you can't be serious. unless you took AP classes in middle school, you shouldn't be allowed to take Algebra 2 until junior year. There's a law, no matter what state you're in

  • @CousinStudios4 not true at all. My sister and I took Algebra 2 Freshman year... we're not even in the same states. Foreign Language was "Strongly recommended" for the college-ready track.

  • Man, this commercail makes me want to conquer all of these. No literally, not only will i do tough classes i figure out were they shoot that and enter the cage to see what it's like in there.

  • @Dark0x0Knight I know the message it's trying to send, but the material in the commercial itself is flawed.

  • @CousinStudios4 "take on the tough classes now" could mean to try hard and be diligent in these classes because it is just a taste of what college is, therefore, preparing you better than if you were not diligent, ect.
