The original FMV of Final Fantasy VII's jaw-dropping, yet baffling, ending. Major spoilers here (if you haven't played the game, chances are you won't understand what's going on! ^^;). Music is not included, but the sound effects are intact.

  • @Nayon1: What are you talking about? There is materia use in the film. Materia use is common on Midgar. I also don't buy the argument about no monsters and no evil. As if Rufus isn't slightly evil.

What I want someone to explain is why the lack of Chocobos in Advent Children.

  • wow, awesome... and very epic.

  • best rpg evarrr

  • @keaki leider das wäre dann noch cooler

  • das spiel ist einfach nur geil!!!!!

  • And they dont use materia in Advent Children because Cloud has it all and there's no reason for it to be equipped. At the beginning of Advent Children there are no monsters in the world and no evil. Cloud collected it all and put it aside....then Loz stole it from the Church. That's why the Kadaj's gang uses the materia later cuz it gives them powers no one else can use --- because they have all the good materia.

  • Meteor is also crashing into Midgar because Meteor targets weak Planets --- it is assumed that because Midgar is so sucked dry of Life-stream that, that part of the world would be the easiest to start destroying.

  • The game is FULL of symbolism. After the ending you hear children laughing --- representing that humans were picked as something good for the Planet. Thats why the life-stream surrounds Cloud after he kills Sephiroth. Humans were thought to be bad for the Planet, thats why Bugenhagen told them there was no hope even if they won. But because of that little scene with Cloud killing Sephiroth, the Planet changed its mind and allowed humans to live.

  • Also Aeris was at the end of the game to signify that she was still helping the team by influencing the Life-Stream to aid Holy...since Holy had been overpowered and turned against the Planet. Even though Cloud and them did all the work it was showing that her influence in the story went beyond her life though without Cloud and them she couldn't have done anything to help.

  • Sephiroth just happened to be higher than her at the time in the crystallized life-stream (since she was way down inside the northern crater) and Cloud happened to bore hate for Sephiroth which made it so he could never forget him --- so although Cloud had a will of his own, he was LED to the northern crater in pursuit of Sephiroth and the Jenova genes inside him.
