Dave DeGobbi from Burnaby, B.C., Canada created this steampunk airship and showed it at NWBrickCon in Seattle, WA (October 6-8, 2006). Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's animation in Laputa: Castle in the Sky, the Goliath has working propellors, pistons, a light-up boiler, and dual bomb bays that drop sixteen bombs from the stern.

  • MCJF: No, this is built from lots of parts collected over several years from various sets. According to the builder, it cost in the range of $1000 (and that includes many sets with tan parts purchased on clearance).
