I filmed the beginning of the Macy's July fourth Fireworks display with my new GOPRO Hero HD camera. I have not had the time to figure out all the setting but wanted to see how it handles the low light conditions. Its extremely light in weight so the camera work is very shakey. I did notice I see a lot of graininess, I filmed some daylight stuff and it seems to handle much better with good lighting. I also noticed its very high in compression, but I'd almost say it handles motion slightly better than my Canon DSLR but that I will test further later.

I was at a dock and held the camera with my hand, its a little tough with the gopro because there's no viewfinder so I had to guess what I'm shooting.

  • Dude..is that a GoPro mounted on your head? At first i thought you were on the water. Very cool! How do you like it?
