we spend a trillion on between wars and Forigen affairs such Bases we planted there. we spend a trillion in paying taxes to the federal government. if we go with no government in schooling and that will probably cause tiution on schools about $200 a month which is about how much you get takin out of taxs in one week, since he wants no federal taxation. Still got like local taxes and state taxes.

Ron Paul believes in the fundamental concept that people should be able to keep what they earn. It is there property, just as a house, car or clothes are. You, and your enforcer--the government--have no right to the fruits of anyones labor. And that is intellectual labor as well as physical labor.

Regarding your economic arguements, I would recommend you read either (or both) Thomas Sowell's "Basic Economics" or Milton Friedmans "Free to Choose".

Freedomsadvocate has lots to learn, perhaps re-listening to the interview to really get the idea that the government is too bloated and the constitution is what needs to be supported.

I wouldn't argue that rich people are the more productive since it is indeed the middle and lower classes that do the labor that is truly needed in our society. They are the "backbone of society"! It makes sense that those who earn more should pay more instead of the current system in which the poor pay much more taxes than the rich proportional to their income. I suspect Paul doesn't want income taxes because income taxes are bad for corporations.

What an idiotic idea...Yes, lets punish all the productive people so that they leave! We don't want any rich people here, right? Everyone should be poor and more dependent on the government. Of course, if all the productive people leave, who would support all those poor people?
