iv been on dialysis for 3 years, it not easy but you must know that your mental state is most importiant i have learned not to fight the machine and to surrender myself to it, make it my friend and be thankful for my dialysis for it keeps me alive . when you fight it you will have that awefull anxiety to get off. try to relaxe more and not worry about when it is over. there is a swap transplant program please ask your doc about it i am also on it and have found a doner. good luck and god bless
