I wanted to comment on this record, but find that I already did! They contain some of the best continental jazz ever made, combining the cream of Afro-Americans with the top of European musicians.

When I was still collecting 78s I bought every record I could find on this label blindly. Not just great jazz, but also great - laminated - pressings by French EMI. Even looking well-worn they usually played perfectly. This one is no exception!
