I made a solar panel that will last 30 years I hope. Its rated at almost 2 amps output.I used 3x3 cells. I made my own frames from 1.5" angle aluminum and put it together with 90 degree angle brackets, with lock washers, nuts, and bolts. I will update on this solar panel when I encapsulate the cells.
whats the point of the bus bar?

@subscribeforcandy Its really a terminal ending block or a barrier strip. Its for connecting the terminals to. I install one on How to make a solar panel that will last for thirty years.

NICE video man . I seen you talking about diy solar on another page where a guy had a 90watt system. I have a 60 watt system and will be going bigger soon

@ireddiamond I Made six 90 watt panels and two more 40 watt panels I think I have around 620 watts now check out my latest up date video called 17 Amps.

Looks nice. One trick I picked up from Mark is to use a strong light and measure both the voltage and the current of each installed cell before you seal it up. He routinely finds one or more bad or weak cells after assembly but prior to sealing. If you are getting the full expected amp output in full sun as you have it right now you are in good shape. Let us know how the sealing step goes. Clear skies to you ...

@Fearlessthinker Yea I think its ok I checked it and it was making about 1.5 amps short circuited with amp meter tester, and the cells are rated at 1.9 so its probably ok. Thanks for the suggestion.
