Ron Paul Revolution March for Liberty July 12th 2008

On July 12th 2008, thousands of liberty-minded individuals descended upon Washington D.C. to protest the practices that are bringing us to ruin through corruption, globalism, "nanny-statism", what is an apparent monopolized counterfeit monetary system, and endless war/occupation. We also came to celebrate the cause of liberty, which is the spirit that had originally brought us together. If we'd hold our politicians to a higher standard than we do our criminals, we'd be far better off.

This movement is to aid in re-discovering the cause that gave birth to our great nation. The belief that government should be more a servant, and less a master. That people were created equal, and should be left in peace, so long as they did not violate other's rights to the same. The belief that "free" is the best, and most natural way to be.

We are building a campaign that is rapidly expanding. We must push on. It is not a matter of politics, but of morality. Those who have sworn oaths to defend and uphold the Constitution have sworn to protect the individual. There is practically nothing of the sort being done. We are taxing generations yet to come to afford this monster of a government. It is out of the people's hands. If we fail, the liberty that was fought for and won may be lost forever. It is an uphill battle, due to all of the unconstitutional governing going on, but we must not lose faith or determination. In a society that has the collective equivalent of A.D.D., the simple concept becomes complex. The web of deceit have been so well interwoven that it covers everything. We are experiencing much of what was experienced in Germany prior to WWII. When corporations and governments move toward merger, fascism is near. Think for yourself. Question everything. When someone that you don't know has prepared something for you (corporate funded news organizations, for example), always consider the intent. Live free. Be happy. ;)

My pleasure! Liberty is for everyone, me included. ;) By helping others to be free, we free ourselves.  It's a pretty good deal! The founders were brilliant! :) Shame that we've allowed it (gov) to be infiltrated by corporate interests. Governments mixed with commercial interests don't turn into Reese's PB cups! Constitutional government = small government = freedom. No press coverage of the march/rally (surprise!), but they were both amazing! I would do it monthly. ;)
