omg turbo and itb's???
ahahahah
-
I wonder if maybe he took the tubing & airbox that connected the turbo to the ITBs to show it off.
-
hey that turbo is just for looking. it's doesn't look possible that the turbo is loading any air into the intake
-
well there certainly will be some boost under the hood, but non pointed in the engine:S
-
im slightly confused...with the itb's wide open and no air box to direct the compressed air into them how does the compressed air make its way into the engine???
ive seen a supercharged sc400 with itb's but it had a custom airbox for the boosted air to collect in before being sucked up by the intake....please clear this up for me!

Nah I live in Jeffersonville, Indiana, I myself have a turbo e320. I'm doing up a 190e 2.6 with a m103 3.0L swap and EVO body kit ready to go on. I've got the engine on a stand with megasquirt wired up on it(i used a 16v trigger wheel kit i found on ebay) and a T61 masterpower turbo waiting. M103's with a stand alone can take around 800hp before the rods start to bend. One owner revved one to just over 10K rpm with no problems.

Thats real good. These Cossie motors are really strong. Im doing efi on mine rite now and the thing is kinda blowing me away at this point. Its making some good power with just efi and exhaust. Next up is turbo. 12 second quarter mile would be awesome in a little 190e. Pro60, I assume u r located in europe somewhere? There are not a whole lot of people in the USA messin with 16v's.

I'm taking my data from someone who did this but with a stock engine. A 1.2 Bar setup got him a 350hp, 12 second 1/4 mile car. There are a few 450-500hp, 10 second 190e's out there so with that car's built motor its very possible.
Hey guys, Thanks for all the comments. I made this video in '04 just after I had gotten the engine back together and running. The project evolved from initially just going with EFI and ITBs to full blown turbo setup. I sold the ITBs and built a new manifold with a 75mm single throttle body. The car currently is running 22lbs of boost. Haven't had it dynoed, but it's making somewhere north of 300HP. Loads of fun to drive. My 10" wide BBS RSII wheels have no chance in 1st and 2nd gear... :)
