Teaser video #5, what to do once the fighting measure has been broken. If your opponent gets inside your fighting measure interception rarely works. You need to have a response for fighting inside of your fighting measure before re establishing your distance.

  • May be effective. But againts a trained person, you straight blast his face and get him bleeding,he gives a hook to your jaw. You faint,he doesnt. He wins. I still stick to my point that Bruce abandoned the straight blast and that it MAY be usefull, but very rarely and shouldnt be taken seriously.

  • Hey Thanks John. How are you man?! Started training a bit again. Having old man delusions of fighting! Ha Ha. We will see if I can hold up under the training.

  • Outstanding Louie. Great drill. Sticking to the principles, making it your own.

  • Gotta question your experience. There's a video out there somewhere of me straight blasting a guy across the ring in a Muy Thai fight. Joe Calzahge (just retired,) is probably the greatest super middleweight/light heavyweight in the last 50 years. If you watch his fights he is pretty much doing a non stop straight blast. . Finally, I occasionally spar with two National Amateur boxing champs. One who is on the national team basically uses a non stop straight blast to crush his opponents.
