  • Could you use a longer con rod to get higher compression?

  • @codsixrules probably but finding one would be difficult and the piston goes so close to the head it would only have to be about 2-3mm longer.

  • Any progress since you posted this vid? I suggest performing a leakdown test.

  • serious? iv got videos of it going.

  • Sorry about that. I found the vid of it running about 15 minutes after posting my comment.

  • haha ok

  • sounds like aero start/ start ya bastard isnt as good as they say...

  • it would be too hard to make. Which gasket do you mean? head gaskets must be metal the one im getting will be 2 pieces of copper with something imbetween.

  • wont be hard to make an adapter. The loss in compression could be due to that gasket, im pretty sure it has to be a zinc type gasket not a paper one. Could be wrong but thats what i think it is, or the paper one is to thin.

  • Nice video Geoff...... From the looks of that older glow plug, it takes the same type of washer or seal like a spark plug uses..... but no worries, you have that NEW glow plug.... Can't wait to see your adapter... 5 Stars!!!!!!
