I remember seeing a bit of this on TBS back in 1981-for years I thought I only dreamed it.

Leslie Nielsen does a good job narrarating.It was only right that the march "Semper Fidelis"would be used.

Thank you Leslie Nielsen. I am saving for a 2 week trip to Guadalcanal. I hope to see what you saw by next year. This tour is an absolute gem. I hope this film will last as long as the USA. I am reading Richard Frank's detail book of what happened at the island of Guadalcanal. Its rich in details. But this visual is great, full of details and history.
