Spitfire MkIX Flying display, enjoy the sight and sound of a famous aircraft. Restored by Brendon Deere in memory of his uncle, and ace, Alan Deere (shot down 22 enemy airgraft). Paint scheme represents Alan's aircraft when he was RAF Wing Commander at Biggin Hill1943. lovely sound of the Merlin V12 engine.

  • @bigchiefmingingbolok another mossie in resto at ferrymead historical park also a Hudson bomber:)

  • @AceInTheMaking , fingers crossed about the mosquito, its great that someone has finally restored one, i saw one flying back in the early 90's but sadly it crashed a few years later. one day it would be nice to see it fly with in formation with a lanc, some spits and hurricanes, just imagine the noise.

  • @Kahu1958 Yeah! Well The Fw190 will almost definitely be there, they're still working like the clappers to get the mossie ready for it. Unsure about the Anson...

  • What a wonderful sound.
