Rhombic drive Stirling engine - moteur Stirling à embiellage rhombique

This is a beta type stirling engine with a rhombic drive. Not really easy to make it work, but it runs ! It can run faster (up to 500 rpm) when heated with a butane torch.
The gears are home made, the inner piston is made of leather !

Voici un moteur Stirling de type beta avec embiellage rhombique. La mise au point est assez délicate car les petites bielles doivent être exactement de la même longueur.
Ici, il est chauffé à l'alcool à bruler mais il peut atteindre 500 tours/min s'il est chauffé au gaz.
Les engrenages sont taillés à la main, le piston est en cuir ...
