Stupid and irresponsible people...and ungrateful (until the end when the mom/wife comes back and hugs 'only' the guys who had the right safety equipment). She didn't appreciate the cops who kept her husband from going out into the freezing/frozen over water and probably dying because he went in without waiting for the 'professionals' with the right equipement! The GUY lets the dog loose, off the leash...onto the ice and into the freezing water. The cops SAVED her husband (kid's dad)...period!

If he wants to risk his life for the dog, he should be allowed. Police just like to flex their authority, they don't actually care if he dies in the water or not

Wow, lets just say I wouldn't have waited for the cops to get there before trying to save my dog. Yes, I would risk my life to save my dogs. Some people might see that as stupid, but I believe every human has the right to be stupid if they choose to.
