It's not science if you just follow the procedure you are told, without knowing anything about what you are doing, and reach a predetermined result: it's just USING A PRODUCT. On the other hand, if you knew what those ingredients were, how they reacted and you were allowed to make some variations to the procedure to notice what changes take place... THAT would be science.
