Obama admits he 'screwed up' as Daschle withdraws

IN THE FIELD: US President Barack Obama said he "screwed up" on his pick for health secretary, Tom Daschle. The former Senate majority leader withdrew his nomination over allegations of unpaid taxes. Obama also lost another nominee over tax issues.

Experience is better than looks, but for the previous election however, looks won because he was black, that's it, he wasn't born here, he faked his birth certificate, he has absolutely no experience in office. As for the birth certificate, his doctor even admitted he can't find it

Isn't this enlightening? A president who is able to admit to his mistakes. For 8 years we had a president who has never admitted to anything-the war, Katrina, Must I remind you--. It's good to see that I have a president who is confident enough in himself to actually admit his faults.

Instead of saying that bush was right or obama is right... can we entertain that possibility that they are both wrong?

$1.6 trillion to bailout wallstreet & state govs mean that each of your families (~4 people) will fork out 20K. When was the last time the gov gave you 20K in tough times?

I know Obama wants to be JFK but this "ask not what wallstreet can do for you, ask what you can do for wallstreet." makes no sense.

So I am not trying to be partisian. I am looking at it case by case...again...If you admit that you made a mistake (Daschle) and you have an opportunity to correct another one (Giethner) and you don't. What's the point of admitting you made a mistake in the first place? Obama is getting a pass from uncritical people who doesn't understand basic logic, with no reasoning abilities and are infatuated with him. i hope you are not one of them.

Wasn't it Obama that asked us to hold him accountable?

For example -

I don't agree with the 700B bill under bush and i don't agree with the 900B under obama. I am trying to watch out for my kids future. The combo of the two equates to my family forking out 25K to bailout wall street and pay state governments.
