I can totally relate to David. Even at the age of 22 I am terribly afraid of going to the dentist.

I am the same way, I hate going to the dentist! and the way the dentist hides the shot behind him, i'm a nosy person and was trying to see what the dentist had behind his back, and he was trying to act like there was nothing there.

My sister is my dentist - and I still hate going. Thankfully I won't have Sandy's problem and fall for my dentist. :-)

Kip Gilman went on to play the role of another doctor and/or dentist Dr. Henry Kaplan on another NBC Sitcom in "Nurses," (1991-94) the spin-off of "Empty Nest" and "The Golden Girls."

I knew he looked familiar. At first I thought he was one of the Brady's on Days of our Lives (who would've been the brother of Josh Taylor's character) ... but I was wrong there. I couldn't piece it until you said something. I used to watch Golden Girls, Empty Nest and Nurses every Saturday.
