metroid turrican clone

Since i am a fan of the game Metroid i decided to program a clone of it, and here is the preview of it. u notice it runs in slowmotion its because i record it with a progam called Frap and it steal alot of cpu power and slow down the game speed. As u can see i have untilmit with power i just press a button to regain health(easy to cheat if u have progmmed it).




Hi thanx for likeing what i have done, i really apriciate it. This video which is 10 minutes long is just like 1,5% of the whole map. There is like 6 bosses in the game pretty advance ones. I wrote this in a language called BlizBasic a very great language for writting platfroms games. I spent like 1 year to develop this game. Coding was the esiest part.Hardest part was to ripp all the gfx to the game which i got from 2 games, Turrican on the amiga and Metroid on the Snes, because i am not an artist myself. The game is almost finished but some level editing is still left and there is yet no sfx inserted either.
I guess i will never finish this game although i would like to. For the last 3-4 years i hardly done anything in programing. I just playing games :(. When i was a teenager i was playing a game called Metroid which was the best game ever developed for the Nes(8-bit) and thought for myself that i some day will make a game like this, that would the goal for me and i guess that was the goal who made me lose desire to continue with prorgamming. I think i will insert a link so the game can be download as it now.
