This is a little video of C64 version of Gauntlet 1 (Gauntlet 2 is slow and just plays crap anyway so don't ask!)
This version is quite fast, graphically it is pretty decent considering the C64's 160x200 4 colour mode! Enjoy :o)

@hurricanewinzz This cant be the tape version though. Where are the colourful loading lines on the side of the screen?

@32MultiKitty Yep. If you stay still for five minutes then all the walls turn to exits. There was a version of it for DOS which had a bug in it. On level 58 you could not get to the exit and the only way to complete the level was to wait.

@MadCommodore i remember that. i used to start it loading then go do something else.. then forget about it and come back ages later to find it loaded!

My first batch of games as a kid included Manic Miner.....25 mins to load and no loading music/graphics!!

I remember when I was little I played this w/my sister. We were a really good team; we got up to at least level 127. We bought the disk featuring a BUNCH of old games like these. (It was an old disk to begin with) Theres a cheat for it though, If you start a level and are completely stuck, don't touch the controller (I've only tried this on Xbox) And just leave it there, without pausing and after a while (About 10 mins I think) And everything blocking you before turns into an exit. It's epic.

Yep this happens on all versions including the arcade/MAME too I think.
