i just saw angel of death by slayer live and fuck the double bass in that is mindblowing. Then i played this and the part that comes at 6:23 is the same as what Dave Lombardo plays in Angel of Death. Everyone who hates Lars should just STFU

@develia Indeed my friend, fast ain't equal hard, and hard doesn't necessarily equal good. Mustaine, as good as he is, is nowhere in Kirk's league, shredding is far from everything, and Kirk masters many more styles that Mustaine absolutely deny to play (like Blues guitar).

@MasterofKnees absolutely! Finally i have someone who agrees with me! I absolutely love Mustaine, and i know for a fact he can be faster than Kirk. But Kirk knows fast isn't everything. If you look around youtube you'll find him listening back to some solo from KEA which has insane shredding and he says "piece of shit cake" since he knows shredding is just meh. Playing guitar myself i have come to realise just playing one scale won't make you a master

@develia It is possible to like both. However, Mustaine isn't in Kirk's league. I'm a pretty big Megadeth fan, know all their albums and all of their songs except for the ones that suck (which would be the majority of Risk and TWNAH), and as a fellow guitarist who also has been inspired by Mustaine I can say that he is honestly very overrated. He is good, but he isn't as good as people make him out to be, he only shreds with many of the same scales, Kirk is way more varied.
