Lightning plays "Old lady Walk a mile and a half" for his wife, Cathy, on his birthday. Belfield Small from Barbados is on the bass and Charlie Braughan is playing a calypso tune for the 1st time ever on the drums. Catch his neck movement!! He really enjoyed the music.

  • I stand corrected. This song is by the Roaring Lion and was given to Kitch to sing

    when he returned from England.

I'm still trying to verify if the correct lyrics are "in she Tilalay or and she tilalay"

  • Having spoken with Kaiso expert, Clifton Lewis, of Regeneration Now, I must disagree with you. Clifton said that Kitch would never sing another composer's song.

    Stand corrected on this:

    03. Old Lady Old Lady Monrose's String Orchestra 2:55

    from Calypso-Best-of-Trinidad (1912-1929)

Was this Public Domain (traditional) by Kitch's Time?

  • nice job!

  • Do you all that 'Old Lady Walk a Mile And a Half' was written and sung by the Roaring Lion? Kitch's version is a remake of the original. Yessiree
