Enable Palm Pre Developer Mode

Early development fun with the Palm Pre, to enable developer mode go to the cards view, and type in upupdowndownleftrightleftright bastart. You will be prompted to enable developer tools.

Your instructions are typical "geek" talk instruction. What is cards? where is up or down or left.... Im an IT expert and your video left me clueless. Try explaining what you are talking about. better yet just dont make any more videos.

He means you actually type in "upupdowndown..." etc on the keyboard,... lol TYPE it IN the keyboard... as he said.. there are no up down keys... lol... and you can do it from the main screen.

Nope - the reset after enabling dev mode does not get rid of anything. You're safe doing this procedure.

So, when you reset it does it get rid of EVERYTHING, like contacts and all? or just videos, music and such?
