This is part 1 of 2.
A humorous "rant" review of Rankin-Bass' 1974 Christmas special, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas". An entire town has their letters to Santa returned - "Not accepted by addressee". It turns out that Santa is offended about a letter that ran in the local paper, which was written by an intellectual little mouse.
It's actually a good Christmas special, but the morals and the implications about Santa were always a little wonky to me, so I decided to lampoon them.
I'm a huge fan of the Nostalgia Critic and other critics on his site, such as the Nostalgia Chick and Linkara, so I decided to do this self-acknowledged "ripoff" :). I am not affiliated in any way with them or their site (though I would like to be :) )
I intended to have it done by Christmas, but...well, at least it will be ready in time for NEXT Christmas (pretty soon, the stores will start pushing Christmas in January anyway).
This video contains some very mild language - nothing that couldn't be said on late-nite TV. I only mention this because none of my other videos contain anything of the sort. Of course, it also contains spoilers for the TV special. If you don't like seeing Santa (or at least Rankin-Bass' version of him) getting made fun of, you probably want to skip this video :).
