just ridiculous, imagine if a king walk happened at the world championship, that would make my day.

Superb game. !!!!!!!

I used to think the only good thing about this game was the king march. Now, after watching this video I not only appreciate the game more, but also Nigel Short as a player. Thank you Kingscrusher for your brilliant and inspiring videos.

Lev Aronian's king had a longer march in a recent rapid win over Kramnik,

True. Still, I'm gonna give this a shot tonight as soon as my girl gets out of work. If I can get her to play a quick game before she settles down I might be able to pull this off. King walk, baby! I'm trying it at home!

Rather than Bg7, what was wrong with Bxe5? He can't recapture due to Qxg2 mate, and he'd keep the dark squared bishop?
After Kh2, could black play Qxa4? After Kg3, Qxc2, leading to possibilities of checking along the diagonal. N/Rd2 would perhaps block it, but can black then play Qg1 to get around there and deliver a check to stop the king walk?

Bh6 was necessary to be able to answer Qe7 with Bxh6
Here is a critical line if Black had played Bxe5 instead of Bg7 :
25. Rad1 Bxe5 26. Qe7 Bg7 27. Rxa8 Bxa8 28. Rd8 Bxh6 29. Rxe8+ *
