::1950's Set::
Our 1950's Vintage Single Coils feature staggered AlNiCo 5 magnets and are Hand Wound to an output of 5.76K. They are wound with the same wire type, number of turns and magnetic polarity of Vintage 1954 pickups. These pickups aren't too hot and most find them just right for many classic single coil sounds that have become so famous in the old recordings.
::1960's Set::
Our 1960's Vintage Single Coils feature staggered AlNiCo 5 magnets and are Hand Wound to an output of 6.25K. They are wound with the same wire type, number of turns and magnetic polarity of Vintage 1964 pickups. With these pickups, you get the classic tones of the 60's, and they are great with everything from blues to classic rock and soloing.
::Modern Single Coils::
Porter Modern Single Coils are wound slightly hotter than our 1960's set, giving you just a bit more edge when soloing and playing rock. We use plain enamel wire for these pickups and they usually have an output of around 6.5k or higher.
