Let's be honest: The war against marijuana has failed.

I know from 35 years in law enforcement.

Today, it's easier for a teenager to buy pot than beer.

Proposition 19 will tax and control marijuana just like alcohol.

It will generate billions of dollars for local communities, allow police to focus on violent crimes, and put drug cartels out of business.

This failed last year by 44 percent. A new poll says people for legalization are up to 50 percent now. Keep trying and you will get this passed. This will set the wheels in motion for other states to vote and legalize it. The power hungry feds wont recognize it but they cant do shit once all the states start legalizing it. It's time to fight back and change is coming soon.

i have taken your proposal 19; The Regulation, Tax and Control Cannabis Act of 2009 und redefined it. I´m not a lawyer. But i´d read, that most people read it, said that Tax and Regulation is not legalisation and also that the regulation who are in this act are inadequate. In my mind, that was the reason why it didn´t pass anyway. So i decided to modify it. Maybe it could help. Are you interested in? It should of got legalized in California! Everyone here smokes cannabis and it'd be a lot better if we weren't building more prisons and wasting billions trying to prison everyone for something that is less harmful than tobacco or alcohol. In the 1800's the U.S. made law that you have to grow hemp if you farmed. Now we can't even grow hemp, because it is marijuana. Even though the male hemp plant can't even get you high. Legalize medical marijuana nationwide at least for all the sick people!

Prop 19 was so close to pass.Which means that it will pass in the next election.
