History is well known: On July 4, 1776, the thirteen Colonies adopted a resolution declaring the United States' independence. Assassin's Creed III explores the history you don't know and an unknown war defined by blood and great sacrifice. Ignite the revolution on October 30.

My god people. We're after the launch date and yet you are still blinded by pride for your countries. America and Britain are allies and hopefully always will be because with the 2 of us constantly at war, the world would be in turmoil. Americans. You are blinded by your patriotism. Without Britain we would be nothing. But British, that doesn't mean you can go and rub it in our faces. We've earned our independence yet here you are telling us about a war that happened 200 years ago.

The Canadians have a real sense of what happened in the American Revolution. The British weren't the monsters as American History portrays them, there were good reasons for both sides to fight for their own cause. George Washington was in no way perfect, he was very flawed with limited military experience. King George ignored advice from his officials and that caused the Americans to feel let down and seek out a way to govern themselves.
