A little clarification - Firstold and Charles "Doc" Santee are one and the same.
The model here was first introduced under the name "fireworks". The model fast became very popular and I thought it deserved a more distinctive name. I ask for suggestions and the results was "Kaleidoscopic Twister" (a combination of several suggestions). Occasionally it is also still refered to as "Doc's Fireworks". Hope you enjoy folding and/or playing with this model

@firstfold hi doc i was wondering what size paper you used for the kaleidoscopic twister and where can you get it?

@theYANMINGshow
If you can fold small use 10 inch Kami cut in half
For larger (like in the video) cut a rectangel at a ratio of 2 to 1 out of a roll of wrapping paper (use better quality paper or craft paper - make sure the back is a different color)
I often cut of 15 inches on a 30 inch roll
