It's amazing how a simple tune change and piano can change the meaning of so many songs.

I don't understand why people are getting their panties in a twist. Glee takes from other covers all the time. Their rendition of I want to hold your hand was from Across the Universe, Rolling in the deep was taken from John Legends acapella cover, etc. Why is it now a crime when they've been doing it for a long time?

@StatusQuoRanger Actually, if you google his name and Glee you'll come on some articles about Greg having issues with this. Just some quotes from Greg about it.

"Of the Glee version, I think they have enough talent over there that they shouldn't need to go rummaging through other artists' work."

"Public acknowledgement of their note-for-note rendition would have gone a long way."

This song is so beautiful. I almost cried when I heard it performed on Glee but, now that I am hearing this version... It is wonderful what people can do with their musical talent and love for music. :)

When I first heard Finn sing the song, I surprisingly found the cover sweet and perfectly sung. I thought it was one of the best covers. However, I had no knowledge that this version was originally performed by this amazing Greg. Glee should have at least given some credit for the cover. I am a bit disappointed and now I prefer to listen to Greg's voice instead.
