African Immigrants in Greece: Moawia Ahmed Interview, Part 1

This is part 1 of an interview with Moawia Ahmed conducted by Nunu Kidane, Director of Priority Africa Network (www.priorityafrica.org). Mr. Ahmed is the Coordinator of the Greek Forum of Migrants and the President of The Sudanese Community in Greece. The interview took place in Athens at the People's Global Action on Migration, Development and Human Rights in November 2009.

Mr. Ahmed talks about the repressive conditions for refugees in Greece and the work of his organizations.

Nunu Kidane and Gerald Lenoir, Director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (www.blackalliance.org) spent two weeks in Italy and Greece to learn more about the plight of African refugees as they make their way to Europe to find work to support themselves and their families back home.

This drone is saying that if a person fleeing for his house on fire and he is not having his health insurance card he mustn't be gone to the hospital because he isn't a victim of fire because he didn't manage to take his health insurance card! This drone is pretending being a person who confuse immigrant with refugee! Or the manager of this drone affraids that the detention centers would end his pimping bussyness! Note: drones are just accounts on computers!They can't be involved in anything!

@Peristerygr please stop masturbating . I have nothing to do with all those things you claim . In my previous comment i said that those ppl plain simple ARE NOT refugees that is why they throw their papers away , because they dont want to be deported . If they could prove that they are refugees , they can do it with their IDs or Passports or even with the help of their embassies (Afganistan,Palestine etc) they wouldnt end to detention centres . Understand or is it too much for you?

@hoggg11 Golden Dawn's drones may explain why someone who have pappers throw them before enter another country and how a refugee could get papers before entering a country!!! Don't worry professional paid manager of this(among others) clone-agent, the refugee women behind the Mayor's Hall won't live so you are going to make even more money!

Hypocrite guy and Liar ! Those ppl who are in detention centers HAVE NO PAPERS with them . So they cannot prove that they are refuges . The truth is very different from his claims . Those guys throw their papers away before entering Greece in order not deported immediately because infact they are illegal immigrants . They Claim to be refuges though in order to take few months legal stay in Greece , until their case is examined . Thats the TRUTH .
