if you say Paul is a genius then no - your definitions do not agree with those that set the benchmark with greats like Mozart and Beethoven who are undeniable geniuses - this is the level of HIGHEST INTELLECTUAL ACHIEVEMENT and its obvious Paul has not reached that - heck he cannot read music and rock is a limited medium anyhow -

by the way I like your version of Blackbird and I believe the guitar work was developed by George Harrison and the words and tune written by Lennon and McCartney

Thanks, majorgeeek.
I must say, I'm just a simple man, and perhaps I'm a bit too liberal with the use of the work genius? Or perhaps we forget that many 'geniuses' are indeed flawed individuals. I guess therefore we've all got a bit of genius to offer, good and bad even . . . there I go again. :-)

problem - Paul a convicted drug user, heroine etc with a Knighthood? outragious!!! - secondly - Paul is not a genius his music simply does not reach highest intellectual levels required - heck he can't even read music and if you call him a genius then you might as well call anyone a genius

Yes, we have a problem here, majorgeeek. Also, our definitions of genius are never going to agree, are they!?

Hi,Bryan.
Just back from a Summer Holiday, so sorry for the delay in replying...this is played in standard tuning, but I've no idea of Mr. McCartney's tuning.
Regards.
