I used to work for a job recruiting firm, and got 5% more commission for getting a black person or hispanic hired. Even if they were far less qualified.

Companies have to fill quotas for certain races, which is bullshit. I thought not being racist was not caring about race at all.

James Baldwin, Richard Wright, ralph ellison were ridiculously amazing writers. No, the other books aren't "not good anymore," but these previously underappreciated books are much, much better.
