Originally I built my own fog system from others ideas and my own engineering but then I got a Dominaero, which is much better and compact system. I've been able to grow a wide variety of plants from seed indoors in a very efficient growing system. Fogponics (www.fogponics.com) uses a fogger which ultrasonically breaks up nutrient rich water, creating a fog that is 4-6 microns big. A mist this fine can be absorbed directly into the roots, something which is impossible with other systems.

I use Humboldt's nutrients Master A&B fertilizer which is an amino-chelated (non-salt) fertilizer which dramatically reduces mineral build up.
I have a 17/7 light cycle using T-5 fluro's for veg growth.

  • Where can buy this BLACK RUBBER WASHERS??????/

  • Ultrasonic fog looks impressive but its not effective for growing aeroponic roots.

  • wow...so similar to NASA's model....even allows for seed propagation and not just vegetative...nice. Are you able to grow your plants to maturity and harvest with this as well??

  • What chiller are you using for this system? Also how many discs are on the fogger? I made my own system (can check it out on my site if you want) but I was having issues with water temp.

  • Also, with the light, you already spent a ton on the fogger, why not spend a litle on an HPS or a T5 floro?

  • that's a cool looking fogger. Could you maybe go into some detail about how it works. I'd like one, but they're so much money, I may want to make one myself - perhaps not. What's with the fan in the middle? Does it push in or out?

    thanks.

  • co2 is for the chlorophyll carbon conversions pertaining to the vegetative growth(Leaves)

  • co2 to leaf not roots and fog temp should be about 77* f

    Leaf need co2- not roots!

They require o2 so theres's noroot rot

Pet store air pump connected to air stone would work better and lower the light

  • all i would say is lower your light your plants are tall and stretchy.the light needs to be way closer.

  • i too am interested in the system and where you got it. would you shoot a video of it when you break it down to clean so all aspects of it can be seen and understood. where is the fogger? how is it kept at correct water level? only fog for neuts?

as was said earlier you need better lighting cause the lumens dont match the system at all. cheers and thanks for sharing
