"Sing Joyfully" by William Byrd, sung by Quire Cleveland, directed by Peter Bennett. Début concert at St. John's Cathedral in Cleveland. http://quirecleveland.org/
@looterish Yes he syllabified the text to be sung as "vi-ol" in this musical setting. But at the end of the day it is what the conductor decided it "should" be for this performance.
@lycanthropist88 Do you think so? I was hearing it sung as in "vy-ol" and divided into the two distinct syllables. I've always heard it pronounced like that in English, or simply as in "vile." As far as I know, neither one is incorrect. It sounded as though Byrd was dividing the word into two syllables.
Nice! Good tempo and positive entries with energy. Wishing you success in future concerts after this debut. Lovely acoustic to sing this beautiful complex music in.

This is a really beautiful song but the echo is kind of annoying at times. They sang this really well.

Wow. good sound. I like the subtle reverb of the church - although the recording isn't that good (or maybe it's my speakers)
