@timedonkey condenced water? I am let some squash seeds dry more(about full day) still some started to mold after I placed them in a container that I left lid off of.  I sat the ones that didn't mold out on flat surface. How many days does it take before I can put in air tiet container?

@assman255 it sounds like the seeds still had enough moisture in them evaporate and then condense inside the bottle. This happens more if these is a big difference in the tempurture of the storage container. Try letting the seeds dry a little more and then store them in the dark, cool and relatively little temp variation to cut down on the condensed water which is the environment mold thrives.

got a problem. I saved seeds from a butternut squash & they got moldy.

I seeded squash, rinsed, put on towl, applied paper towl top & lightly pressed. let sit about an hour, put them in a clean empty vitamin container, shut tiet. Did I not let set out/dry enough? or should seeds never be stored in a 100% air tiet container?
