I have never claimed any kind of goodness on my part. I strictly adhere to the Alfred Doolittle philosophy on morality: I'll have morals when I can afford them. It doesn't look like that's going to be any time soon.
The saddest thing is that China could have been a truly 21st Century society. Instead, they insist on making every mistake the West has made, only with 1.3 billion people in the mix. It's all downhill from here.
