Keep it up for them, keep it up for wolves

Hello everyone...This is my first video,so please leave comments and rate my vid!
Thx everyone for watching!!!

I am Wolf.

I am many things
Teacher, Friend, Lover, Healer
Mother, Father
Son and Daughter.
And yet you fear me.
Despise me.
Kill me.
Why?
Are you not those things?
Are you not a Wolf as well?

Historically, wolves roamed throughout the lower 48 states, but centuries of misconceptions and hostility toward the species led to intense human persecution. These factors coupled with habitat loss effectively wiped out the species throughout most of the country during the twentieth century.

Theese animals are in the edge of extinction. If we don't do something, soon, there will be none of them left on this planet. We can live with them, together,we don't need to kill them! They are good, they don't want to harm us.Don't kill the wolves, they need us now, more then ever, now when they are facing death!

The wolf is the largest member of the canine family. Gray wolves range in color from grizzled gray or black to all-white. As the ancestor of the domestic dog, the gray wolf resembles German shepherds or malamutes. Wolves are making a comeback in the Great Lakes, Northern Rockies and Southwestern United States.
Wolves were once common throughout all of North America but were killed in most areas of the United States by the mid 1930s. Today their range has been reduced to Canada and the following portions of the United States: Alaska, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Mexican wolves are found in New Mexico and Arizona.

Thanks to the reintroduction of wolves in 1995, Yellowstone National Park is one of the most favored places to see and hear wolves in the native habitat.

Wolves live, travel and hunt in packs of 4-7 animals on average. Packs include the mother and father wolves, called the alphas, their pups and several other subordinate or young animals. The alpha female and male are the pack leaders that track and hunt prey, choose den sites and establish the pack's territory. Wolves develop close relationships and strong social bonds. They often demonstrate deep affection for their family and may even sacrifice themselves to protect the family unit.

Wolves have a complex communication system ranging from barks and whines to growls and howls. While they dont howl at the moon, they do howl more when its lighter at night, which occurs more often when the moon is full.
The most common cause of death for wolves is conflict with people over livestock losses.

Another serious threat is human encroachment into wolf territory, which leads to habitat loss for wolves and their prey species.

Overall, the greatest threat to wolves is peoples fear and misunderstanding about the species. Many fairy tales and myths tend to misrepresent wolves as villainous, dangerous creatures.
Help the wolves, and help many other animals too

  • Wolves are so much like humans that they are 'SLEEPING AROUND" it has been Doc. that the Alphas are stepping out on their Packs in Yellowstone . They attribute this break down in Social Structure to the High Population Density of Wolves in Yellowstone. The Danger in this type behavior is Parvo carried by the Red Fox (not indigenous) being transmitted easily from pack to pack. Parvo aside Wolf Experts are concerned with long term effectiveness of Wolves when this happens.

  • wolves are an amazing creature, they are so much like humans but we don't realize it. i personally think my Former is eather a wolf or some kind of animal from the Canid family.

  • wolves are wonderful but also killers thats what i really like about them people hunt them down for no reson

  • Wolves are wonderful.

  • I love these animals! If mankind wants to be fair, start by treating the animals you were based off some respect. More than anything, care for life, the lives of these poor creatures, not knowing what they did wrong. Imagine if you stole a cookie from a free cookies bin and this idiot (human) comes up and kills you?! Put yourself in the place of the opponent before you decide to kill it. Think, maybe this animal has feelings. Maybe it has a family, and it is just looking for food to support it

  • i got a cream colored alaska wolf at 6 weeks, alpha male. pretty stupid the first year...or so i thought. his line had been militarily trained to seek and kill. 'nam, tunnels, etc. i got fed up with his antics... breaking chains, barking at everything, and decided i didn't want him. i still fed him, walked him ,but i would not speak to him. metamorphosis! he calmed down. looked where i looked. got angry when i got angry. relaxed when i relaxed. i was the fuckup! never underestimate these animals

  • Lol me too
