@jlxh08 Other Presidents who served caused a lot of shit (Andrew Jackson against the Native Americans, Harding/Coolidge/Hoover with the Depression, Reagan selling arms to Iran)...they deserve respect? I think not...I'll respect our president's office, just not all its occupants (including the present one). You remind me of those clueless robotic, "America. Love it or leave it" false dichotomy fools. George Bush NEVER served my interests. Based on his low approval ratings, many others concur.

No, here is what I wish, Laura...that my friend's brother who lost a limb in your hubby's oil war (he was in the military prior tot he Supreme Court appointing his lame ass) could get it back, that the suffering perpetuated against women and other innocent Iraqis becomes a bad dream a la Patrick Ewing on Dallas. A non threatening despot is not worth all those losses.

such a lovely and graceful woman. I will miss her so much and so will a lot of other Americans. and yes I do agree that she was possibly the best First Lady this country has ever known. when I think of the White House, I think of her. she belongs there.

dude, i totally agree with you. laura was a great person. and seriously, regardless of bush's faults and mistakes, he was still our president and served for american ppl and he deserves utmost respect.
