AdventureCraft - Rats and Bats

Been busy this weekend tackling how to create mobs and came up with a couple. Rats and bats. Now they are currently using other mob sounds so this video is silent. Also noticed an issue with bats and their random number generator while making this video (all the ones from the same spawn are synchronized so they abandon you at the same time).

Also you will notice my version of 3d grass in this video and the auto far plane clip adjustment (which activates inadvertently due to fraps locking the FPS at 30).

Bats!

The first time I heard/saw one was in the Zelda Adventure map that inthelittlewood showed me.

I was going through a dark maze and I heard the most blood-curdling, nerve-racking, pee-inducing sound, a mix between fluttering and screeching.

I had absolutely no idea what it was, and then a pair of red eyes came flying around the corner.

I nearly fell off my chair and screamed like a little girl.
