  • Superb work. It is very rare that an IB Short is genuinely emotionally engaging. If it's ok, I would love share this with my students as an example of the professional level that some IB students achieve. Congratulations, particularly on the sound and editing. In my opinion, I totally disagree with the cinematography comments from DanielWFilms. The camerawork is superb.

  • @stgeorgesnfilm Thanks, yea sure! Share this with the whole school if you wish... thanks for picking us as an example. Check our other films on our channel and see what you think.

  • Certain scenes remind me of "the grudge". Good work.

  • @Siddi1976 thanks.

  • In the mood of sharing film, I would be interested in what you think of the Standard Level final production from my recent group 10:17... it´s on our youtube page

  • dang scary!

  • That was intense. Pretty scary too!

  • Again, its all constructive criticism! The editing is alright again, the story is on par with a student project, but the cinematography could be nice, its just slightly off again. You have the right idea for the style and for the set up, but again, aesthetically, it isn't quite nice. What would help is having a lower angle for most of your shots. For horror/suspense, a mid level angle does wonders. Good luck though, and decent work! Check out mine at my page, maybe?

  • @papan1990 With the Sanyo Xacti, you can choose where to focus by going to the menu. Although you can't change the focus while shooting.

  • @JoaCardonerFilms in the scene 0:22 to 0:24 .... how did you blur out the remaining part of the frame and just focus on the keys when it was thrown?
