Tim & Company of Travelers....
I was moved by your gentle gesture to the people of Segou. Fascinating to see how the village potters work their craft. To me, you showed the greatest respect when you & your father chose that particular piece qith the onion dome lid. You are a tender diplomat. Thank you for sharing your insight, sensitivity & travels.

i think I'm going to cry...
The way you filmed the people, the children, the village, the river...
The way you chose the gift, it's so delicate.
Okay ,now I'm crying..
Thanks! :)

a beautiful film. I own three pots by your father. And the reaction of people when they see them for the first time is the same surprised admiration as in Mali. Yesterday I was in the Boymans van Beuningen Museum. For a exhibition of ceramics. In the showcases was one litlle vase by your father. I recognised it immediately. You made a good film. Tnx

what is unbelievable is the mixing of clay and the intuitive brilliance it takes for firing in such conditions.
this film is (for myself-as a potter) touching and very artistic and beautiful, very well put together!!! make me miss home (Ghana)!!!

you are extraordinary behind the camera but i hope you always have moments in front of the camera too!
"the lines as a meandering river": stunningly poetic about the beautiful piece you gifted to them. you are a phenomenal filmmaker. your talent plus your intuition (the gentleness and kindness) breeds such brilliantly moving work! i am amongst one of the many who feels inspired after watching this!
