used to shrimp out of Ft. Myers and Key West and all we listened to was JB. Love the man and his music. Makes me want to go back more years than I care to admit. My husband is a metal head and I am a parrott head and he doesn't get it. Too bad cause he is the one missing out/

Thanks for posting. Been listening to JB for my whole life as well (42 years) and this is my favorite song. The time it came out and my life blended for one of the most memorable times. When I hear this, I can still smell the smells and feel the emotions. THAT'S what good music should do.

I live in Tennesse- and i was thirty years old before i ever saw the ocean..... in Stuart Florida. We vacation there and hang out in Jupiter and Juno. I am a late blooming- self proclaimed parrothead. I love Jimmy and all his music. This is the first time I've heard this one.. Ah. Florida, my birthplace, my residence, my paradise. There's no place perfect in the world, but in my own opinion, La Florida, is close. If anyone comes here, they should check out the Keys. :D
