On the CD, Sarah introduces the song by saying, "I thought I would try out a brand new song, see what you think of it."
Excuse the video, it's just a single image bouncing around. Suggestion: don't watch the video, just enjoy the song.

Why did Ms Mc Lachlan change the lyric of her song? I always heard the piano more than the lyric, yet the notes remain the same. Incredible song and music no matter the lyric.
This song was also featured during the end titles of the movie "Moll Flanders" (1996), starring Morgan Freeman, Robin Wright Penn and Stockard Channing. It was especially appropriate for that film, I think.
I'm shocked that people are doubting that it's Sarah singing this. She's got an extremely distinctive voice, and while it has changed a bit over the years, it's still highly recognizable here, as in her earlier albums.
At any rate, it's beautiful. I like both versions equally well, but I particularly like the "together we stumble and crumble and fall" lyric in this one. And while my love for this song predates my love for Buffy, Becoming Part 2 is the reason I tear up every time I hear it.
