This was the best move in survivor history, there is no doubt in my mind that Russell was the best player in survivor history. But he could get people do to whatever he wanted. He was so smart strategically, fancy winning a vote when the alliances stood at 3-6 not in his favor. That's something no one else has ever been able to do. His strategy was basically got him to the final trible councel, what he didn't realise was that the way he played was never going to get the votes from the jury.

rob got smarter in this game bcuz of russell.. luckily for rob the jury this time is not bitter compare to russell time.. cmon rob basically did everything that russell did 1. look for idol 2. get a dumb girl on side 3. control his soldiers 4. blindside them 1 by 1 5. lie to them - and now every1 is praising that kind of game.. jeff even said that it was a textbook game.. russell changes the game completely..

@prolg That was the best analysis I've ever read on why Russel changed the game. It never even occurred to be that Rob M took Russel's strategy completely in Redemption Island. It would of been nice if Zapatara was wise enough to work with Russel instead of being terrified by him, Mariano would have had no chance and we could have seen some much better game play.

@theCRIMSONtradition Rob is much better than Russell. Russell himself said that he plays such an aggressive game because that's the only way he can get to the end. Rob is very good socially, and in challenges. It's not that Russell isn't smart, but he's just not that good of a player.

I don't see how any of you could possibly say that Boston Rob was even in the same league as Russell. Look at it this way. Have you ever gotten bored with watching Survivor when Russell was playing the game? And lastly, which I could make many, many more intriguing points to support my statement than this, but when has Boston Rob single-handedly gotten Russell knocked off of the game? Never. And he couldn't, not matter how hard he tried. Russell went to the final three after being down 6-3. Epic
