  • In your description you said that the new will make its debut in 2010. I thought it was 2009? Thanks for the tour!

  • yes i i thought its debut was in 2009 but its in 2010 at least, thats what the ttc says. Check on there website and search toronto rocket at cne and it will tell you 2010 thats were i got the information

  • is that inside one of the actual trains

  • This is A Mockup It is a Look alike of what A new train would look like but its not an actual Car

  • I saw this at the CNE last year, it was pretty cool. They have light a display panel up for which stop your at.

The only problem is, if someone lets out gas and farts in one car, it's gonna smell in all the cars.

You can run but you can't hide!

  • yea apparently the windows will be vandal proof :)

  • @phillydisco

Oops, all of the trucks (wheelsets) except the very first one and the very last one are powered

  • when are they being implemented

  • Lol. I thought they would make a big change. it basically looks the same to me. Lol, guess that wouldn't matter in the long run since TO riders make the transit so dirty and since TTC doesn't clean up enough. It better work a lot more effectively.

  • @phillydisco True. Maybe they'll rethink when they read your comment. ;P

  • @adonist7 I agree. The seats doesn't look very appealing.

  • I don't understand why they need to have all the cars open from one end of the train to the other. I mean, at least if it's compartmentalized, you don't have to worry about a smoldering fire and smoke, or noxious fumes, filling an entire subway train, it'll be contained to one car. And removing those center poles is a bad idea. Kids will start using skateboards or running up and down half empty trains. And short people will have a little trouble finding something to hang on.

  • uh not the same old red seats... something new!

  • did you see the real train? they unveiled it last month!

  • they have these in india, and this one looks exactly the same, when i saw it in cne
