OLGA MEREDIZ: (Abuela Claudia) has an extensive background on Broadway off Broadway, film, TV and radio. Born in Cuba and raised in Puerto Rico this Tulane University graduate is very excited to recreate the role of Abuela Claudia on Broadway. Her Broadway credits include Mamma Mia! (Rosie), Reckless (MTC/Trish), Man of La Mancha (Orig. Revival Cast/Housekeeper), Les Miserables, The Human Comedy. Film credits include: Changing Lanes, K-Pax, Evita, Center Stage, Requiem for a Dream, Music of the Heart, Isnt She Great, City of Hope, Angie, Apartment 5-c (Cannes Film Festival), Marvins Room, The Milagro Beanfield War (directed by Robert Redford), among others. Some of her TV credits include: Au Pair III for ABC Family to be screened in 2009, The Sopranos, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, Hope and Faith (recurring), The Jury (recurring), The Job, 100 Centre Street, The George Lopez Show, The Bill Cosby Show, House of Buggin, among others. LUIS SALGADO: (Ensemble; Latin Assistant Choreographer) Moved to NY in 2002 dreaming of achieving his passion of performing on a Broadway stage. As of today, Luis has performed in shows like The Mambo Kings (Frankie Suarez), Fame on 42nd Street (Joe Vegas u/s), and Aida among others. Film Credits includes: Step Up 2 The Streets (Alejandro). Dirty Dancing 2 (Diego Luna's Dance Double), Enchanted, Across the Universe, American Gangster and The Great Observer. In 2007 Luis choreographed the musicals Serenade and The Drop Outs in NYC and co-directed/choreographed the original show Mezcla in Peru. Luis has been able to assist choreographers like Maria Torres in the film Enchanted; Jamal Sims in the film Step Up 2 the Streets and is thrilled to be representing his culture as Latin assistant choreographer in this amazing musical hit.
