@finchy13 if youre asking why running no header is bad then i'll tell you. As the engine heats up, the exhaust coming through the exhaust port and around the exhaust valve is very hot. (around 600deg during compression stroke before it is even ignited). If you have no header/exhaust etc. it allows a direct path of a cool air to the valve allowing the valve to warp or crack. This is mainly true in cold weather and prolonged high rpm use.

I have done that before for shits and giggles. Nothing ever happened to the engine. I got the same engine just a different head. My engine runs like a champ. She is faster then most newer cars on the road and its 14 yrs old. Just one difference nothing is set to stock settings. She is my experimental daily driver. If you never do what your mom told you not to then you will never learn anything new.

its not going too kill the valves it will take a long time before tare chirp it has too get 30F to 40F too kill the valves if your in a climate or in a sunny day around 50F your ok it will not cause any damage. Ever See A Turbo COLS Down The Valves Too 102F

So Your Ok I Will Not Cause Any Damage Just Don't Do This In The Morning Then Its Different Story ;)
