  • great!!!...thanks!!

  • @odannon Thanks. I'm glad you liked my guitar teacher's stuff. :-)

  • Only when he's not trying to slip The Hucklebuck into a lesson. It took several takes, but once I let down my guard it went a lot smoother. I'm slipping the The Hucklebuck everywhere I can now.

  • I'm guessing that you like The Hucklebuck? I looked on iTunes, but I'm not sure what it sounds like. I'll ask Jeff to play it. ;-)

  • He taught me "The Hucklebuck" in the lesson right after this one.

  • Jeff's very cool. Hmmm. I never heard of The Hucklebuck.

  • mccartney deosn't use a capo

  • I won't call this a lesson... You didn't even add all the chords you use... Please message them to me...

  • BTW...I'm talking about the very first chord of the song, not the hook "Bluebird" as you start out on the vid. Also I said the chord is O2OOOO in tablature, but that's using the capo as the 1st fret, k? All the best.

  • @ monkeyjunkee: Hi...I'm still playing out as a live one man band & have been an ear musician for years. I happened onto your site by accident but (& tho I appreciate you teaching others) I have to tell you that the first chord would be O2OOOO, not an Am. You then play an Em but it's without the A string 2nd fret. (again in tab...O2OOOO. Listen to the way he plays the first chord. He plays only the first few strings, then plays them all so it almost sounds like 2 chords but it's not. Try it.

  • Very nice work! Such a great song. I'm fairly sure Paul tuned down a whole step for this one on the album. That may explain the nice jangle he gets. Give the chorus a shot without the capo starting with an open Dm into an A7 resolving on a Fmaj7. It will all fall in to place. Losing the capo will also allow you to get red of the minor chords (Em/Am) and replace them. I'll leave that up to you though :) From one Wings fan to another, All the Best!

  • Thanks for this. That opening sounds exactly like 'Because' (on Abbey Road), no?

  • nice! thanks a lot, you save my day :)

  • i would like to see full view of guitar
